The Stone Church Library

library pic

An extensive browsing library for both children and adults is located in two rooms of Lincoln House, the building just south of the church. It's accessible on Sunday mornings and whenever the Church Office is open.

The library contains a unique collection of books lovingly shaped over many years by volunteers and generous donors. Just inside the door of the main library room is a supply of maps showing locations of popular materials.

Each month our Newsletter, the Stone News carries an article telling of new books the library has acquired. Many are gifts from church members and friends. A complete listing of all Stone News issues is available Here. In the new window that appears issues are listed by year and month; select one and then page through to find the attractive Library section in that issue.

One can also locate books by using the Google Search feature provided in the right hand column of any web page; just enter the author and/or title and click on the search button. For example, entering "The Hero Within" (without the quote marks) then clicking the search button will lead you to the June/July 2010 issue of the Stone News, where the book appears in the Library section of that issue.

The library also has two book carts which are located near the Social Hall.
