This DVD  is a resource for talking about marriage equality, which includes the UCC General Synod 25 floor debase on the resolution, “In Support of Marriage Equality.”   It is an excellent companion to the study resource, “God is Still Speaking about Marriage.”

                    The DVD explores the courageous stories of persons with disabilities as they succeed in making their faith communities truly inclusive.  There are many disabled speakers with different forms of disabilities who share their stories.

                    This DVD presents overview of the richness of Latin America and Its People.  We learn of the life and culture of the pre-Colombian civilization and the course of colonization and see how the waves of immigration occurred in the nineteenth and the twentieth centuries both within Latin America and in other parts of the world.  The role of women in Latin American society is examined and we also hear of the challenges women encounter.  The work of the church in Latin America and its impact is explored.  Additional features include videos of United Methodist Women’s partners’ work in the region with women, children, and youth.
