About our NurseryOur Nursery is located immediately adjacent to the Sanctuary, just past the front door. It is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the youngest children of our church. It is a free play environment. We encourage children to explore and enjoy toys and books at their leisure and offer them comfort and love when they dont feel up to playing. There are always 2 childcare providers in the Nursery during Sunday service. Parents are welcome to stay with their child or leave them for the duration of the service. The Nursery is open at 9:15am on Sunday mornings for drop off and children should be picked up promptly after service. Childcare is offered during adult bible study and other after service meetings or activities after Sunday service. Please notify the childcare provider if your child is staying in the Nursery during these times. Childcare can also be provided for other church functions with at least 2 weeks notice. Please notify the Nursery Supervisor if such service is needed. During church service, the Nursery is open for children age 0-3 years. Upon their 4th birthday, children will be enrolled in and join the Preschool class. No child over 4 years old will be permitted in the Nursery during church service as the Nursery is not equipped for this age. During other church meetings, activities or functions, with advanced notice, the Nursery welcomes children age 0-10 for an age appropriate movie. Functions occurring after Sunday service do not need advanced notice, just notice before or immediately following the service. Please contact the office if you have any questions.
A Few Details To Get You StartedWe will ask you to fill out an emergency card for your child in order for them to be cared for in the Nursery. Please also keep its information up to date. When you drop off your child, please fill in the sign in sheet completely. Only the drop off person or another designated adult may pick up your child. Please do not use the Nursery when your child is not well. (That includes colds, runny noses and the like.) Please notify caregivers of any allergies, special needs or instructions for your child. We offer snacks during service, so need to know what your child can (or can not) eat and drink. Please provide a bottle and/or sippy cup with preferred drink, diapers and security items such as a blanket or pacifier as needed. Please label all items clearly. We want to make Stone Church Nursery a pleasant, safe place your child wants to be. Thank you for your help in making this happen.
