Music at Stone Church
![]() An Overview Music is provided during worship on most Sundays through the school year by our chancel choir, augmented by pipe organ, piano, and on occasion by others - a volunteer brass group, a volunteer bell choir and hired chamber players. The choir consists of over forty volunteer singers. Nancy Kromm has been directing our choir since early September 2006. She also chairs the Music Department at the University of Santa Clara. Stephen Boniface began as our organist in July 2012. He comes with over 20 years experience which includes playing at St. Joseh's Cathedral in downtown San Jose.
Our sixteen rank pipe organ was custom built by Schoenstein and Co. of San Francisco, the largest and oldest pipe organ firm in the West. The instrument was installed in 1986, and is shown above.
