Dec. 8 Sermon: Making a Way
The Christ child we are waiting for would be born in a land controlled by an empire that he was not a citizen of. He would be born in the midst of a system where some enjoyed the privileges of citizenship and others would not. His mom was a homeless unwed pregnant teenager.
