March 24 sermon: Then They Remembered
“
I find it kind of ironic that people shout "Hosanna!" as if it were a simple phrase of joy to honor the king. But what it really means is "save us." Save us, Lord, from the harsh and cruel world. Save us, Lord, from all the evil and sadness around us. Save us from the terrible news of children killing children and massive attacks on hospitals and families and children and legislators who refuse to change, and relationships that crumble before our eyes.
Rev. Dr. Libby Boatwright
