Stone Church's Chancel Choir
Choir Director
Nancy Kromm earned her degrees at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, did post-graduate studies at Stanford University and is Associate Professor/Voice at Santa Clara University. She is a frequent performer, conductor and director outside Stone Church. She was the soprano soloist on the Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Symphony recording of Nielsen's Third Symphony, London Decca recordings.

Organist
Pam Hood is a California native and was raised in Pasadena. She's served as a church musician for various denominations and as an accompanist for classical and jazz artists throughout the Bay Area.
Pam has a BA in Music from San Jose State University with an emphasis in composition and piano. Pam's interest in early church worship led her to explore the early church fathers' backgrounds in philosophy. She earned an MA in Philosophy from San Francisco State and received her PhD in Philosophy from the Claremont Graduate University with an emphasis in ancient Greek philosophy. In 2017 Pam retired as an Associate Professor of Philosophy at San Francisco State, where she taught for nearly 20 years. These days she is delighted to be spending her time with Bach than with grading papers.
